Warehouse Loft Condo

This project earned us “Best Kitchen” for the annual 2006 Western Living Kitchen and Bath Design Awards. In contrast to the 1900 historic warehouse space, the renovated interior of the loft condo was designed to be extremely dramatic with large open spaces and very contemporary finishes and details. The wood ceiling, beams, columns and exposed brick walls have been cleaned and exposed. The plan is based around a large gallery space from the entry to the living spaces. Features include: partial height walls to allow natural light to flow to all spaces, barn-style sliding doors, stainless steel and limestone and dark woods for all of the custom-designed cabinets. The result is a perfect melding of the old and the new.
